On 23 June, LVGEM Group teamed up with Shenzhen News (深圳新闻网) and Shenzhen Ke (深圳客) to organise the “Joy Reading” 2018 LVGEM Recitation Contest Final in the LVGEM NEO Building. After 17-day competition, which gathered over 100 contestants, received overwhelming response and obtained 100000+ “likes” from the public, 120 people came to witness the final round of recitation contest in Shenzhen.
Lan Ming, the host of Shenzhen Morning Ride (深圳早班车), Wang Shitai, an urban culture scholar, Long Jiantao, the general manager of Shenzhen News, Luo Fengming, the founder of Shenzhen Ke and other distinguished guests were invited to be the professional judges for the competition. With the attention from the professional judges, the media and the public, the top ten contestants communicated their genuine emotion by way of recitation. Jiang He, one of the contestants, gave a beautiful recitation of “Chen Qing Biao (陈情表)” and won the highest number of votes among his rivals finally, making him as the champion of the competition.
Recitation brings citizens and the city closer together
In this era in which information is exploding, there is little communication between people. In recent years, as recitation-based programs are getting more popular, this “minor” means of communication has gradually become the best way to comfort one’s soul. Shao Wei, the general manager of the Brand Marketing Center of LVGEM Group, introduced, inspired by the internal recitation competition of the company, it is found that this method can bring citizens and the city closer together. “As a city operator and developer, LVGEM not only focuses on construction but also ingrains this kind of communication in our products and services. We think that the people living in cities should not just care about quality space and products but also the inner emotion. This is the ultimate goal of LVGEM’s Joy Building (构筑喜悦). We hope this competition can gather more people together, enabling them to enjoy the warmth of the city,” Wei said.
