A carnival of 1000 people, playing to a new height!
——— “Expect • Goodbye LVGEM Migrant Bird Parent-Child Carnival held successfully
At the end of spring and the beginning of summer, everything rising up from sleeping, migrant birds at Shenzhen have also embarked on their journey to the north. In order to arouse public awareness of environmental protection, promote close interaction between parents and children, and farewell to the winter birds together, on May 8, 2016, title sponsored by LVGEM Group, and sponsored by Shenzhen mangrove wetlands Foundation, the “Expect • Goodbye LVGEM Migrant Bird Parent-Child Carnival” event was held in Futian Mangrove Park. This is the best embodiment of “LVGEM Charity in Action”.
As the title sponsor of this carnival party, LVGEM Group and Shenzhen Mangrove Wetlands Foundation has multiple times of cooperation in protecting endangered mangrove forests, and supporting the implementation of series of popular science education activities, both out of an understanding and respect for the way of nature, and also of LVGEM Group always standing at a corporate citizen standpoint, upholding a dictate to participate in social welfare and charity enterprises.

The LVGEM Migrant Bird Parent-Child Carnival was themed on “Farewell migrant bird”. It was designed to simulate a variety of difficulties and risk that migrant birds encountered in the process. By completing tasks in the form of checkpoints to experience the hardships of migratory processes, participants recognized the significance of ecological environment on human and nature.
300 groups participating family members wore parent-child T-shirts specifically designed for this carnival, carried small canvas backpack, face filled with smiles and passion, lively but without losing the order.
The carnival carefully set up four active route, so families while participating in activities could also seize the tail of the spring, enjoy the beautiful views of the mangrove park. While passing through on the way there were different points of tasks, joyful and fun. Each family needed concerted efforts to fight its way through to complete seven tasks in order to pass. The total mileage reached 3 kilometers and took one hour to complete. It was a test of understanding and intimacy for a family to concertedly cooperate to complete the distance in limited time.

All barriers was completed and game was over, but everybody was still fascinated. Parents said that such activity was very meaningful as it not only made the whole family interact happily, and also allowed children to pay attention to nature and learn some knowledge about nature. Kids said that the game is very fun. They learned a lot of knowledge about migrant birds and looked forward to the next opportunity!

Finally, the “Expect` Goodbye LVGEM Migrant Bird Parent-Child Carnival” ended in everyone’s laughter and good reviews. Everybody not only learned about science knowledge of migrant birds in entertaining and relaxing atmosphere, understood ecological status of mangrove forest, while it also aroused public concern about mangroves. The LVGEM Mangrove Luxury Garden, located on the banks of mangrove forests that cannot be reproduced, upholding the natural way of respecting for nature and living harmony with nature, pursuing a Bay Area lifestyle of freedom and leisure, cannot be possible without the rare mangrove forests. LVGEM Group is expected to continue to work with Shenzhen Mangrove Wetlands Foundation to bring to the Bay Area more beautiful memories of getting close to nature. “LVGEM Charity in Action” will continue to evolve.
